There is no election mess. People who want to run for the office should be allowed to do so.

I don't agree with term limits for any elected official. Repealing an amendment would be very costly and time consuming. Also it would be a political hot potato. I am sure neither major party would want to take the chance of letting the opposition run the White House for an indefinite period.

Americans will go out and vote we will get a new President and possibly another power shift in the Senate and House.... Just like every year an incumbent is not running for re-election

At least the people who wrote the early amendments to the constitution knew what they were doing when they made it difficult to change the thing.
