How can I replace colors with custom scene in Sony Vegas 7.0?

I recently got the programme and although I'm not an expert I'm doing quite well with it so far, but I just can't find how can I replace the color I want with custom scene. Is that possible in Sony Vegas? If not which programme can do that?

    this works sort of like " green screen".

    our roomate is the editing master with vegas...the tool is called chroma key.
