It could be nothing more than reflux, but i completely understand your concern.
If i were you, take you child back to a doctor , whom you trust. INSIST that an xray is done on your child's stomach. Its very rare, but sometimes there can be a diaphragmatic hernia. A small opening to either side of the diaphragm which allows abdominal contents to move up into the chest cavity. Because it is uncommon, it is often not recognized by doctors early on.and passed off as reflux.

Was she a premature baby? Formula or breastfed? How many ounces at each feeding? Is it "spit up" or actual "vomiting"? Sometimes it may seem like a lot to us but sometimes even regular spit up is normal. I would have the doctors run tests to figure out if she has reflux, gastrointestinal problems or may be lactose intolerant. Otherwise, she may just as well grow out of it. Be sure you're not feeding her more than 6 oz at each feeding and keep her body very still for at least 15-20 minutes after eating so that she can start to digest. More information about her would help me answer better but that's what I have for now. Good luck!

my 6 month old does it. only everyday all day. have your doctor prescribe some baby zantec or prevacid. my son is on reglan which helps the flap in the stomach to work properly to have the milk move faster out of his stomach. but def. call ur doc and ask him for prevacid or zantac!

Does the time have anything to do when she eats? Sounds like she might have GERD (reflux) and might benefit from medications. What do the doctors say?

its probably acid reflux, my youngest had that. i know how scary that can be. try putting her bed at an angle, propping a pillow under the mattress. feeding slower, if you can. she will grow out of it, i promise. i wish you all the luck and God bless, hope she feels better soon.
