I found some letters by Twain where he mentions Verne and his works. However, it does not say anthing about them meeting.

"The Mysterious Island" is my widespread. i think it relatively is the sequel to "Twenty Thousand Leagues below the sea." "journey To the middle Of The Earth" is likewise very solid. the action pictures made in the previous due 50's and 60's are exciting yet they're given the Hollywood myth scientific care and selection from the books. those memories have been remade into video clips many situations as they're great adventures.
