Can you draw using a pen?

Yes, you just have to be decisive and make every line count.

I used to only draw with a pen, but for the last several years (I'm twenty-years-old) I've been drawing with pencil first and then inking those pencil lines with a Sakura Pigma Pen.

I find that, when I draw with pencil first, it gives me the opportunity to erase and re-draw, whereas you can't do that with a pen. Though I HAVE heard of erasers that can erase pen ink and the like.

I find it difficult to use a pen when drawing also. I get shaky and worried that I might mess something up and can't erase it. I usually draw with a pencil first then re-trace with the pen so that it is permanent. I understand you frustrations though. It is so hard to draw with a pen.

Nope, I can draw with a pen. Biro pens are great for little doodles. But I admit, pencils are better so you can rub out and shade effectively and stuff.

Pen at great to draw with. It teaches you to pay attention to every line a detail because there is no turning back. Pen is actually my fav thing to draw with. Make every line with purpose!!!

Actually, I prefer using pens! I only like the porous tip pens though and I sometimes love to draw using only blue ink.

Sometimes I prefer a pen, it's a different look for a drawing. Plus, if you mess up you have to be creative to fix it, or start over.

I can draw with anything ... and my preference depends on my mood .. I love pastels (chalks) ... but I love combining them with pencils and pens, and and ink and ... well .. anything ...

i can, but i draw better when i am able to erase, but i sometimes sketch in my notebooks in skool so i have to use a pen when i do that
