Is a vertical Kanji tattoo read/written top to bottom, or bottom to top?
I'm planning to get a vertical Japanese Kanji tattoo, so I need to know how I should tell my tattoo artist how I want it. I have two characters, "God" and "remembers," and I would like to know how it should look.

Ask the shop you want to go with. They have resources and have to know, it's their job. If you have the wrong signs they will correct it anyway before you get them to double check a foreign language.
