For Hindus. It is said that when you are born your fate/destiny is already written.?

2 begin with ,I don't believe the trash about our fate being decided as soon as we r born.We ourselves decide our destiny.If u lie back 2day & tell urself that u're gonna complete 2day's assignments 2morrow then u r the BIG LOSER.Our past decides our future.The things like sacrifice,poojas etc. were introduced into our culture by the religious preachers4 their own benefit.

True it is that Fate or Destiny is set at Birth depending upon the time of birth and the positions of the navagrahas then. Then again there have been examples where destinies have changed by mere karma. Technically the destiny that you are talking about is nuthing but a generalized idea or a general course one's life would take and a lot of it depends on the choices we make. When an astrologer advises to perform a certain pooja or a ritual he basically is trying to offset the imbalances in one's life by the arrangement of the navagrahas who are constantly on the move at that time. Take my example, due to rahu's influence on my natal chart I was not able to settle down in my career. As I am ruled by Shani and rahu is of the same side as shani I opted to befriend it by wearing its stone (Gomeda), and now I am well settled in my career and have been working in the same field for the past 6 years. And this is a true personal experience. Should I have taken it as a destiny that I shall not have a settled career? No I strived and bettered myself at what I do and learned and worked hard for where I am today. Wearing a stone or performing rituals do not ascertain your success but only your karma or actions define it. Things like poojas and wearing stones certainly help subconsciously in stabilizing the thought process and creating a positive attitude towards performing the right karma. Belief in yourself is the only way not to be fooled. thanks

Consulting others is not forbidden in any religion. Even when you throw something in a river, take a note of what you throw and how much it was and such details. You are practically left in this world to be alone though you believe a lot of people are around you. There is no one except your destiny.

Its applicable not only for Hindu but every Human Being. You are born on this earth to do something good to community. You need not lead a life as an idole and everybody can't be. Atleast you can do something good to others. Your karma is to live with problems and you have to overcome with good deeds/thougs/actions etc. Why everyone is praying that they shlould n't hv rebirth. Beacause the birth itself is a backlog of previous 'jenma'

fate or destiny cannot be changed it it only that the bad wich is going to happen can be weakened . the bad which happens is the fruit of bad things which we do.

No one knows what is the fate.Poojas are only meant for facing the reality with confidence.So there is no question of changing it.

Yes it is your karma (Action) in your previous birth that decides your fate in the susequent birth.It is like every action having its reaction . the atrologrs give only a solace to yu rmind and prepare you for facing the karma without fear .If they say that a god yo propitiated would prevent the missory following the karma , you cecome bold and are free from fear . it is not fooling you bur preparing you tofsomething .suppose somebodyfire s cracker behind you without your knowledg e.Yiu will be shocked when it bursts .even a lion or an elephant would be shaken by an unexpected sudden sound however mile it might be ,Suppose somebody fires a big cracker like an atom bomb with your knowledge .you won't b shcoked whe the craker goes off.howeveer louder it might be .Rt.;.
