Why is Sketchers stock so dirt cheap?
SKX trading cash adjusted on a 9.25x P/E for 2007 and just 8x 2008. Company grew 80% EPS in 2005 and 50% in 2006. 1Q07 grew by 36% year on year. Normally companies with this kind of growth rates trades between 20 - 25x EPS. On 2008 EPS estimates would justify a stock price of between $46.20 - $57.75.

At least 40% of the stock's return comes from the industry group move. The retail/apparel sector is currently out of favor.

They missed earnings, badly. Got their target price cut dramatically by just about every firm that follows them. If you love the company long term and are willing to wait.... its as cheap as it has been in 18 months.
By the way, your ratios are wrong because you were using faulty forcased earnings amounts.
