Where can I find cheaper art supplies, Brevard, FL?
In the Brevard County, FL are or on the web, where can I find cheap and large quanity art supplies? i.e. Acrylic or tempura paints, oils, pastels, water colors, paper, canvasses & brushes.
I prefer to buy them in person, but will get them on the web if needed.
Thanks, good advice on the home paint, I already do that becuase I do a lot of murals. I probably have 40 different cans of paint in the closet next to me right now :D. Sometimes I'm just looking for something with a little different texture than latex to use on large canvases.

Oops paint from home depot is also cheap if they still sell it. It's house paint that has been accidently mixed and brought back by the customer. Or, buy a couple of quart cans of color house paint colors and mix them yourself.
avoid Daniel Smith, they are expensive.

I go to the large home improvement box store and buy the cans of hose paint that people returned because of bad color match....they are cheap for a boatload of paint............I also get great stuff at garage sale and thrift stores

right here in England we've places the place businesses donate 'paintings components' -e.g used backing paper from reflects & shows/envelopes/card...allsorts truly. it is a case of one guy's rubbish is yet another guy's treasure (or lady's!). it is properly worth finding out in case you have something like this, or start up one(!), or touch businesses. We stored a fortune utilising this technique.

I go to http://www.dickblick.com/ There's not one near you, but after googling your area all I came up with was Wal Mart. I think you'll find a better selection and better quality at this site. Happy painting to you!
