Pole shift means That the magnetic poles change position.
This means the magnetic field will get somewhat weaker for some time. And get stronger sometimes later.
This happened a couple of times before in the last million years, and as far as we know it did nothing much to the majority of species living on this planet.
I'm afraid i cannot really see why just 10% should survive this.
I think we gonna have some time in the future were we check for solar-flares before leaving the houses, na ?
