Will the philippines survive the pole shift ?

You can't run or hide!

We will ALL suffer and die a horrific death!!

Since no measurements or observations were taken the last time such a pole shift happened, why on Earth would you think there would be ANY, ANY information about what to expect this time?

You haven't a clue what a theory or hypothesis are? You pop in here and ask your silly, off-the-wall question and season it with absurd extremes like "going to the Himalayas" and 2012. Please go back to a subject you are better equipped to comprehend, like Nike Air Triax shoes.

Everything surrounding the possibilities in the aftermath of a pole-shift are educated guesses. But, I'm betting that people like you will not be intelligent enough to survive the event, either physically, mentally, or emotionally. Darwin's Law will prevail.

I am a resident of the Philippines and in our geography class, Philippines' has higher land area than 200 ft.above level and I know that Philippines' volcanoes are so active that they explode each 5 years so Philippines could sustain their land area.

- Dont worry because every year mountains are formed so do land so its not yet the end of the world.

I keep hearing a lot of "pole shift" and there is nothing scientific yet with any research that says definitively that the event will happen. If and when it does, and it has happened before, it will probably have the effect of Y2K. You'll hold your breath, close your eyes, and after a minute, you'll take a breath and burst out laughing at the foolishness of it, only to discover your late for work.

i live in Cebu city and just built a house, and i am not worried. the best thing that you can do if you are that worried, is get educated and leave this place. cause I'm not sure the mountain tops will hold all these Filipinos.

i'm living in the Philippines, of course there's hope, we're surrounded by mountains here, no wonder there's no tornadoes here (thnk goodness)

Luzon can survive.but not visaya and mindanaw.
