Because that's what this section was meant for. Some people like to learn about different religions as well as gain insight into how other people think.

Why are YOU asking a question in religion & spirituality?
Why not?
To each his own.
A lot of people are inquisitive and would like knowledge. Others like to get on the computer and answer questions.
Then there are those who seem like you - asking useless questions.

Because the forum is titled Religion & Spirituality. There is little here on spirituality, but a lot on religions.

Because it answers a lot of my questions when other people ask. Sometimes I don't have what it takes to ask, but the answers that I read are incredible! People just want to know. That's all.

Because it's a subject we all want to share our ideas about and this is a safe forum to do so. These discussions and exchanges of ideas would not work on the job, at dinner parties, or at family reunions. It would cause chaos. Can you imagine????

Religion is just one category out of the hundreds on here. Perhaps it is because it's Sunday, the Sabbath day.

It's a subject that attracts lots of people from lots of places and it's always interesting to see another person's view of life and God, even if we don't agree with it.
