he leads in Batting Average, RBI, Runs, doubles, and slug percentage. hes second in hits. he is not in the top 5 of stolen bases, home runs, triples. also this is all of mlb.

yea ill have to agree but with his team in 2nd place in their division might cause a concern but vlad is right on his tail for mvp with his team the 2nd best record in the majors and his team leading the AL west division. But ill vote for Ordonez if the season ended now.

The MVP isn't given to the player who's better "when he's on", it's given to the player who is worth the most to his team over the course of the season.

No, he doesnt, maybe in hitting, but he is only an average fielder, besides gary sheffield is better than him at hitting when hes on at least.
