Any one here ever eaten at a Pondersa Steakhouse ?

Yes its a chain & the best thing I can say about it was that I liked the rolls!!!

Not worth it. There are plenty of other steakhouses in Chicago that are.

I have eaten at several. But, they are not all alike. We have one in town that is very good, especially the buffet. But there are two I know of that are poor quality service & food.

I used to love them in my teens and twenties. I thought they were a step up from McDonalds for a date.

Now I never eat there. I can afford to go to Outback or other restaurants.

we had one of them here and it was a very good place to eat. The owner and his wife got divorced and our pondersa went away with the divorce.

Great if you like a lot of preservative on pounded meat.

i believe i have eaten at a ponderosa before...a couple of years ago. i remember it being over-rated.
