Gerard or MCR is not EMO!!! they have said it themselves. youtube has a lot of interviews where they say they dont like being called emo cus they are not.

emo is only a genre of music it means emotional music. Gerards (MCR) music depending on the person could me emo but Gerards not!

on who gerard is dating with what he said he is not dating anybody but he recently broke up with Aliza Cutts. i dont know what kind of releationship hes in because he says hes has fond someone special but he never said he was engaged and he wares a wedding band on his left hand!

If by "emo" you mean a cutter, then, no. He was about five years ago (estimate) but...no, he not now. I heard he was dating someone but then I heard they broke up...I have no clue right now. But Frank got married!

He has never said if he was emo,goth,or punk. He's just a rocker.

I wouldn't say that he's emo, but there's a video of him giving lessons on how to put on makeup. Would that really count?
