How could it possibly be in the US interest to refuse a ban on plastic hand guns?+?

plastic handguns are more commonly known as "toys"

there are no real all-plastic pistols - the famous plastic Glock is still mostly made of metals and distinctly registers on metal detectors and X-rays.

There are said to be thousands of gun laws, so I would be unable, likely, to find the pertinent laws, but I doubt they are written with definitions limiting them to guns which contain metalic parts. Other than the question of how durable a fully plastic handgun is, the law would be an arguable redundancy, since guns in general are prohibited in some areas. Also, how would the banishment of a lawful weapon (generally speaking) be constitutional on the grounds that metal detectors can't pick them up? Suppose the owner keeps his plastic gun at home?

We need to stop banning things.

And we need to to start fixing things instead which we could easily do by stopping deliberately corrupting everyone all throughout their lives.

We can't make a perfect world by banning everything that we don't like until everything is just perfect.
