Manhattan to Westfield Garden State Plaza?

ok, this will be complicated because there is no train station within walking distance of GSP. i always drive there, which is simple because it is right off of the GS parkway, but public trans is another problem. first, make your way down to penn station to use NJ transit. you will see a bunch of signs for the train line that you want. i have included a schedule for you, so look at the time you will be leaving and the train line that corresponds with that, so then you know which one to look for at the station. hop on and get off at the broadway station in fairlawn, nj. i think that is the closest station to the plaza. then you can take a bus to the plaza, which isn't far away but there is rt. 4, 17, and the parkway, so you cant really walk there with all the highways. if you want to, you can take NJ transit or PATH to newark, then take a bus from there to the plaza. i just chose fairlawn because it was the closest to your destination, but there is no direct train there and no NJ bus that goes there from manhattan. perhaps a private bus company goes there, i dont know about that though. once you get there, you won't be disappointed. it is a fantastic mall and worth the trouble you will take to get there. also the ikea is amazing. 3rd biggest in the world i'm told.
