I need your help. I want to refresch my english but i live in Germany and for this reason i don t have often the possibility to improve my english and all what i learned is going back.But i m sure that it will all coming back with exercices. Frensch is my first language but German is a second Language . I propose you a Tandem with me in one oft the both.

I am in a symetric position to yours: my English is pretty fluent, after 7 years in UK and 8 years of living with my British partner, but I am struggling to learn German. I moved to Vienna (Austria) 3 years ago, and what with working in English and all that, I am still not (or far from) fluent! Although I understand most of it.
French is my first/second language, as I spent many years at the French school, my father lived in an ex-french colony (Comores) and I did my PhD degree in Lyon, France.
So, if you want we can try a 3-language conversation: you write to me in English-German, and I try to reply. French will be our "safety boat".

What exactly are you asking, specificially, Josie? You want to refresh your English? Ok, you can try corresponding with someone in USA, England or one of the islands of eithe one, who uses English. (It's my first language). For this, I suggest you go online to International Penfriends, who are based in Australia. (although you might find an independent rep of theirs- they do have some). Not only might it help you, it would also be fun! Or you can go online type into yur browser Free Translation. Choose the first or second of the findings. Another option is, do both.

in cosmopolitan life french is the one you need and English is a little a villagers language and in technology well German sounds right in place..
