What is this about Yahoo stopping the "point system" and allowing users to spend the points. However, when you go to the site through the contact of the email, mine (at least) does not show the points I have earned. Are these one and the same things or what?

    What do you mean? Yahoo! Answers don't let you spend the points by stopping the point system. You still lose points if you spend them.

    You can't spend the points, and there is still a point system.

    I tried to take my 500 points to Starbucks for a free cup of coffee, but they told me the points weren't worth anything. So I had to pay for it myself.
