How can I remove the need to hit "enter" when I start my computer?
My Windows Professional computer requires me to hit "enter" when it first starts from a cold shut down before getting to the desk top.
It's annoying. How can I get rid of that nagging request?

If there is no password and only one user the box should not come up. Go to start/run and enter "control userpasswords2" and try removing the check requiring a login. There is also a selection on the power options control panel to require the option when waking up.

If you go to 'Control Panel' then 'System', click the 'Advamced Tab' then click on the 'Settings' button to the left of 'Start Up and Recover' you should see an check box that say "Time to display list of operating..." and you should just be able to uncheck this box!
