Who else likes to spin up the NASCAR fans?

shooter is 100% correct. I also love all forms of motorsport, and I will also watch NASCAR but ONLY when they race road courses (what, 2 times a year?!) BUT.. NASCAR fans are typically so ignorant of other forms of motorsport that they have no interest in anything else. They are not fans of racing, they watch for the soap opera and the wrecks. It's sad really. And by calling it a "rich man's sport" or referring to F1 drivers as "fags" or "sissies" that just proves that they have no desire whatsoever to expand their minds. What is the number one rule in the redneck manifesto? "Always make fun of things you don't understand"..

You're so right about the nascar fans.Nascar fans are not race fans.You cannot have a conversation about auto racing with these people.They don't know anything about any other series except nascar,to them-there is no other series.You watch them,they'll be on F1,IRL and general auto racing, on monday, calling everybody gay--because that BIG SOAP OPERA they call NASCAR didn't have a race this weekend.I asked one once if he watched any coverage of the LeMans 24hr race-he looked at me like I was speaking SWAHILI.I said I had watched a documentary about LAND SPEED RACING and he didn't have a clue what I was saying.They bash everybody else then get mad when you talk about their demolition derby C.O.T.--Bottom line is: NASCAR is all they know.You can't get into a battle of WITS with an un-armed person.

why do you come to the nascar section looking for trouble im a nascar fan but like all types of racing including F1 ,its low class people such as yourself who claim to be a race fan that turns people against other forms of racing by insulting the type or racing they like.i will not say anything negative about F1 i like it alot just not as much as i like to watch the nascar races of course but have respect for the drivers of the F1 series so if you want to come to the nascar forum at least have enough class to respect the sport instead of acting like a true jackass and you might actually get nascar fans interested in your sport instead of making them automatically think all the F1 fans act like you i hope most F1 fans realize a big majority of nascar fans such as myself enjoy both the nextel cup and F1 series and unfortunately their is ignorant fans on both sides not respecting one another

There is retaliation and the announcers usually try to say it was an accident so they won't start trouble among the fan base.

I love doing it too. Most of them are either kids, or VERY unintelligent people. They do not know much about racing, and refuse to watch anything that is not filled with crashing, fighting, bumping, and beer ads. It really makes the rest of us SMART american race fans look better.
