Games aren't necessary for a baptism. Just do the cake and coffee hospitality. Most people just hang around for an hour or two at the house, sometimes the baby gets a christening present but not always. No grown up games this is the baby's day focus on the baby.
If your doing an actual birthday party keep it simple 1 year olds don't have much of an attention span. They would be more interested in the food.. make finger food like cheese, different types of crackers, olives & pickles. Again keep it under a couple of hours, otherwise you will have a lot of cranky babies on your hands.

Far too many time people don't even understand baptism, Games, cake, balloons, decorations? Follow the examples of the Bible, the people who were baptized were of age and knew what baptism was for. It is by far a party or sport, nobody is born a Christian, but one must choose to live a life for Christ, and choice usually comes at a well age, when someone actually can recognize sin(not a one year old). Cake and party...I wonder in todays world how many claimed Christians there are that say their a Christian but have never have read the Bible. (cause if the Bible was your information source you would have quite a different perspective and more respect )

You should decide if it is going to be a birthday or baptism. I don't think the two should cross boundaries.
Baptism should have just a light lunch following the service- at a restaurant or home. No balloons or decorations should be involved. Certainly no games.
