pros and cons of the wii?

Pro- easy to play

Con- low graphics

Pro- Wii Channels

Con- No current internet multiplayer functions

Pro- Cheapest

Con- Low graphics (in comparison to the great Xbox 360 and the over-hyped hollow promises of the PS3)

Pro- 4 player capabilities

Con- .5% said to have faulty start-up hardware

Pro- Goal to be 2 million Wii consoles in US by christmas

Pro- Good games

Pro- durable

Pro- small

Pro- plays gamecube games

Pro- Comes with game (Wii Sports)

oh, and if you consider the PS3, think about this- the Wii-60 (yeah it sounds stupid) the Wii and the Xbox 360 can be purchased for $50 more than the PS3 alone, which comes with only the Talladega Nights: Ballad of Ricky Bobby HI-DEF dvd.

Pros: the game play experience, the virtual console

While the graphics are not the best on the new consoles the game play makes up for that and the difference in price. For the price of a core 360 you can get a Wii and one game. For the price of a PS3 you can get a Wii extra controller and 4 games. Just how much is HD graphics worth? Just a thought.

Guitar hero 3 is the best game by far i've played on the wii, but i dont have most of the major games, but that game is almost infinitely replayable if you have an internet connection, other than that i'd research games before buying, if you have itunes, look for the Xplay podcast from G4, they have game reviews on that, and if your still in doubt, rent, go to a rental store or try gamefly. And if you fell like getting some great classic games, the wii shop channel is the place to go

Con's: Poor Graphics
