why is chelsea not going for martins to replace Crespo?
i feel chelsea would have gone for martins cos i feel Drogba does not have the tempo Schevy has and they might not get things right as it is suppose to be. but the way Martins Play can bring any team under confusion with hiscombination with shevy; Drogba is not a fast thinker he is just strong on the Ball but Martins (iner) can do both and he is very fast on and with the Ball.

may be they are happy with Drogba football. so I am not s Chelsea fan but i think that is what they see

I'll expect that they are playing only with one upfront again this season as well. They might field Sheva and put Drogba on rotation. Besides, they have the versatile Salomon Kalou who can also play as a forward.
With the 3 they have on their books, I believe Obafemi Martins can't really offer them anything that these 3 can't do.
For the record, the signs are there that they have problems keeping everyone happy in the team if they have too large a squad.
I assume that's why Mourinho isn't rushing in for a replacement.

Crespo wasnt needed by Chealsea, they have didier drogba they dont neeed any one else

who in his right mind would leave drogba and get rid of crespo???
