Has anyone personal Experiance of seeing John of God in Brazil?

Real answers please!! 

My auntie is very ill and has been for a long time. Now she is thinking (quite strongly) of going to see him. She goes to church every day and her faith is very important to her. She is a Roman Catholic. 

Now she has an hip replacement operation coming up she is cripled with Arthritis, Somebody who has been to see this John of God has told her not to have it but to go and visit this healer. 

Now, i'm a bit of a skeptic, and fairly enough i believe concerned. Although if he can do her some good then im all for that too. 

I would like people to answer who have had personal experiance of this John of God, so that i can make an informed dession about weather i should support her and go with her or if i should actively discorage her.

I would like her to have her operation, to releif the pain, and then go and see him. idealy. At least at the worst she has had a trip to brazil, although it maybe be costly and painful to travel.

i have only seen film footage of him but the footage was from a good source ... he is astounding and the results are clearly spectacular
i seen a film where he made an operation on a ladies back where she had a growth .. he cut her open with simple instruments ( no anaesthetic or sterilising ) and he removed the growth with his hands and there was a lot of it !
the lady stood all the time he done this and felt nothing and just walked away once it was done
the following day her scar was minimal and healed almost instantly
i would definitely enquire about this if you can

I've just been reading about him, I would not say he is "of God" at least not the God I serve.  All seems a bit dodgey to me, not that I don't belive God can't heal people, and use his servants to heal people. But this "John of God" talks about being possesed by King solomons Spirit (he words it different, but it means the same thing), this is not "of God".  God gives us His Holy Spirit to heal others, and I smell a rat with this guy.  Take her to a decent church but , not Latter day Saints, Kingdom Hall, new age or Spiritualist church!  A good Penticostal Church is what she needs, and then she can go out to the front for prayer.  There are a lot of fakes out there, and it is hard these days to discern the fakes from the genuine (just like forged bank notes are so like the real ones).  But one thing I know, anyone who claims He/She heals in any other name than the name of Jesus, you need to avoid.  You would not want your auntie to be possesed by demons would you?
BTW, sorry if I have not seen this guy, but I don't have to see him to know that it's wrong.
