I wonder why there is nothing in the media about Yahoo being down for 2 days?

All Yahoo services should now be restored. The building which hosts the Yahoo European Operations Data Centre lost all commercial power at 13:40 yesterday afternoon. Power was restored to each section of the building over a 1 hour period between approximately 7-8pm. The guys that work in the Yahoo suite have told me that the power outage caused huge technical problems and they only recently brought all services back online. There was also a brief power outage on Friday, although I'm not sure to what extent or duration this affected their operations. How do I know this you ask? I work in the same building and have had to suffer the same problems!

I would be happy if they would just post it on the main pages of yahoo that they are having technical difficulties and that they are working on it. My messenger was down most of the night yesterday, and now the only way I can get into my yahoo mail or homepage is by using my messenger and clicking mail. They should let us know what is going on.

To my knowledge Yahoo wasn't down for 2 days. I've had access all weekend.

i find most of my information in the chat rooms, there are tons of hackers and very knowledgable people and they also know what is goin on, that is how i know there are tons of hackers comin through the back door of yahoo and gettin into the servers

I don't know either, but couldn't they at least explain theirself to us when this happens and why it has been happening lately. If it wasn't for us ! Wouild there be a Yahoo, hmmmm ?

you cant becase isnt aa big deal as the power going out, temperatures reaching over 100, and the storm comming up and other things sorry to say it

yuhhh i think yahoo should of told us atleat ... cuz jesus yahoo got hijacked or something they should atleast post something in their yahoo homepage
