Can you take 2 regulare pills as emergency contraceptive?

I read somewhere that if you take 2 of your normal birth control pills they have the same effect as the emergency contraceptive. Anyone know some facts on that?

Ogestrel or Ovral (white) containing estrogen-progestin 
 Take antinausea medicine. One hour later, take 2 hormone pills.
 12 hours after the first dose, take 2 more pills.

No, you can't simply take 2 of your regular pills as emergency contraceptive.  Even the combined dose is not strong enough.

You need to get the emergency contraceptive.  You take the first one immediately along with a gravol to help with the nausea and then I believe you have to take the second one 12 hours later with another gravol.  I'm not 100% sure about the hours in between.  It's been a few years since I've had to use it.

It's not true and it's dangerous.  You're pumping too many hormones into your body at once, and it doesn't act as an emergency contraceptive.
