internet explorer doesnt work after most recent ms update, and cant find it in add/delete. what to do?

cant put addresses in the window and get them...but yahoo does it fine, and it still comes up and uses favorites etc..says you can find the update to get rid of it in add/remove but i cant, just internet explorer

You need to delete the last microsoft update then it will all return to normal. if you can't find it in add/remove programs you can either search through your program files and system files till you find it and then delete it or use system restore and go back to a date before you put the update on your comp

Get Firefox and browse safer and faster with more features.

Because Microsoft is so scared that you will remove IE from your machine or that vendors will do it before selling it to you, you cannot remove it. It is tacked onto the kernel. You might be able to back out the patch. That's iffy and risky.
