Would you take into consideration to adopt one cat/kitten out of the local pond, animal shelter, rescue center or would you just check your local newspaper, or buy at the pet store or a breeder?

If you would prefer pet store/breeder / newspaper - would you also go there when you knew that cats/kitten in pots or kill shelter are on (often very tight) deadline to be adopted out or put down if their time runs out?

How much are you willing to pay for your cat or would you rather try to get one for free?

If preferable for free - did you thought about upcoming vet bills for annual shots at least and unexpected bills if your cat gets sick or had an accident?

If you think you can't afford vet bills and therefore trying to get your cat for free - did you thought about saving up to be prepared for your cat's emergency treatment if it happens?
