I have the most wonderful man in the world. He treats me like a queen. His mother isn't happy with his choice of dating a black woman and he's trying to act like it doesn't bother him but I know her opinion matters to him. I just want him to know that his strength in all this is greatly appreciated. He deserves the best and I want to give it too him. I've agreed to meet her after a couple months although I am not planning on it at all. Besides cooking him a meal, how can I show him that his mother will not drive me away. I am here for the long haul.

I am so much in love with a white man and I am black. My family is completely accepting. His mother doesn't condone our relationship. I know I should support him. But forgive me for saying, meeting a racist woman wasn't part of my plan. I never wanted to be put in a position that someone judges me before they get to know me. How would meeting here sway her judgment to begin with. I can deal with strangers. What I cannot deal with is feeling belittled by the mother of the man I love.

Its so annoying I've been petite all my life and it still irritates me when people assume you don't eat because you can't gain weight and then they're so quick to tell you how small you are...but if I was over weight they would bite their tongue...I just want to know if anyone else feels this way...I try not to be pig headed about it because I love me the way god made me I'm just saying if I went around telling people they where fat then it would be a problem. RIGHT

A few months ago I would complain to my guy that he wouldn't commit to me and he didn't show me enough feelings and such...now he tells me he loves me all the time and makes it a point to spend quality time with me and takes me out as much as he can and everything is great between us and I am comfortable with our relationship situation as it is now. However a bout a month ago I grew really inconfident and I ended up talking to someone else on the side because the way things were going I didn't think he'll ever come around. Now I'm stuck in a rock in a hard place. The guy that I just met is really in to me and let me say that he is a great guy...then there's my Mr. Right that took forever to realize what he had...what would you do in this situation? I just dont want to hurt anyone

This guy my friend just met is very chill to hang out with. It's obvious he's really in to her. The catch is he's the cousin of her first love but he passed away. Granted they weren't messing around for going on a year in a half, and they weren't committed to one another he had a girlfriend and was doing his thing dating other woman on the side and everything. And I told her it was ok to date him..was this the right advice?

I have a friend that dates guys and she always gets consumed by her relationships. Meaning everytime she starts dating someone she doesn't contact her friends, we don't see her, she stops working and trying to make a better life for herself because her boyfriends life in a way takes over hers...It's a weird thing...finally about time you speak with her she's doing horrible and guy turned out to be trash and is just dragging her down a dead end...After a few times you seem to give up advice, listening, and being that shoulder when they made the obvious mistake...So my question is how can people allow thereselves to be so into another person that their life is crashing before their eyes and nothing matters? How can you let someone else control you? ....I'm just wondering what is it that makes someone continue to make the wrong choices?

My family constantly calls me for everything from needing an onion to picking they're child up from school. Mind you I'm 20 years old with six older brothers and sister and one younger. If my little brother gets in trouble I go to the meetings and plea his case. When my mom needs to go grocery shopping and pay bills, well I do that to. Oh and yes I lived on my own since I was 16 years old I have my own car and my own place..and also work 3rd shift...they never consider my life or the things I have to do..when I go through personal problems I'm forced to get over it and keep pushing and I feel like no one in my family understands me...Do you think they're taking me for granted? I understand in a big family sometimes its like this but are they just using me? When it be my turn to be able to have someone to call upon for help?

Okay guys this is krazy. I'm currently single have been for awhile right..now i'm getting to that point when I really want to be with just one person and share my life with them...I wonder if I have it in me...Being single is great but I dont want to spend my whole life by myself u know?
