I have long haired guinea pigs that stay in a hutch in my garage. I have had them since April ant they're very lively. However today I gave the pigs food, one of them ate like normal, the other one touched it a bit then stopped eating, I tried to encourage her to eat, but she wouldn't touch it. I lifted her up to see if she was ok, I could lift her no problem, she still felt warm, she was purring, she seemed ok, so I put her back in hutch. I checked on the guinea pigs again this evening, the one that wasn't eating didn't come to the door like normal, like the other one did. I touched her to see if she was ok, she started moving and I picked her up again. She seemed warm, purring and was a bit more lively.

It is quite cold tonight, could this be a reason she is acting the way she is? I've put a lot more hay in the hutch and have put 2 towels in the bedding area so the 2 of them are warm enough. I do live in Glasgow, Scotland so it can get quite cold. I'm not allowed them in my house, my mum won't allow, but the hutch is in a garage as I said.

Will she be ok? What should I do?

I would really like to be in a relationship again. I have been single for just over a year and miss being in a relationship. I don't need a boyfriend I know, but I would like one. I don't know any guys that I like in that way. I don't go to nightclubs so I am not sure how to meet guys. Also how can I impress guys? I feel like i'm going to be single forever lol.

I am looking for some exercises that I can do to lose weight. I can't always make it to the gym so doing some exercises at home, in the garden or in the park is always a good idea. I walk in the park a lot which is good but I would like to do some other exercises. Also is there anything I can do in the house. I go up and down the stairs as much times as I can in 30 minutes.

If you have any other exercise ideas that would be great. Thanks.

I have just asked a question about losing weight and I forgot to mention this bit.

I sometimes cave in at wanting a chocolate bar or a cake etc and I want to be able to control binges. How can I do this? I feel like I actually have a problem sometimes and I don't want it to be a problem anymore.

I am fed up with my life the way it is. I am a 23 year old female who is 19stone in weight. I know this is really bad. The reason I have not done anything about my weight in the past is because, well I did try but I never stuck at it and also I just was too lazy to be honest. However now I want to change and get thinner, not just for looks and clothes but because of my health. I am a heart attack victim waiting to happen. In July there I was in Dorset where I was visiting family, some of them said stuff about my weight, nothing nasty, just giving me advice etc. I will be going to Dorset next year and I want them to see a different in my weight, because it is smaller not because it is bigger.

Here are some things I am wanting to try to lose weight, can you tell me if these are good or not and can you give me some other advice thank you.

I am going to try and cut out all junk food from diet as much as possible so that means: no chocolate, no chips, no cakes, sweets, fizzy juice (even diet fizzy juice) ice cream and all that other bad stuff. The only day I am allowed any of this stuff is Christmas day.

For lunch I am only going to be having soup, this is easy, I go to college where food is made, so I can just get my soup from there. I am going to be eating smaller portions and drink more water.

Also what are some good drink alternatives if I am not going to be drinking fizzy juice anymore? I will drink water, but there is only so much water I can take.

For exercise I am going to be walking round the park that is really close to me and I will be exercising to exercise videos. I cannot join gym at the moment due to money and as silly as this might sound I can't go swimming because I am a bit nervous about people seeing me in a swimming costume. When I lose a bit I will be in the swimming pool with no problem, but I'd like to lose at least 1 stone first.

I know a lot of people think having ginger/ red hair is a bad thing. I love it! I wish I had that colour of hair so much. I have have dark dark brown, my hair is almost black. I think if I dyed my hair gradually to a ginger/ red colour it would go nicer with my skin colour. I have meduim olive skin.

I am assuming I will have to bleach my hair? I have already got a little bleach in my hair to lighten my colour a bit.

I got my hair bleached for the first time this July. The reason I got my hair bleached was because, my hair is naturally very dark brown, almost black and I wanted my hair colour to be more of a chocolate/ mahogany colour. For my hair to go the colour I wanted I needed to get a bleach shampoo on my hair for the colouring to work. My hair dresser that the chocolate colour will fade quickly as I have never bleached it before.

It is now the middle of August and my hair has faded, which means the bleach is still there and I don't like the feeling of my hair now. The ends are all dry and fluffy feeling. How can I get my hair back to the condition it used to be. Should I re dye it with the brown? Would conditioning treatments work on the hair? I'm not sure how to make it better.

If you have any advice that would be great. P.S I don't want to cut my hair off lol. If I have to wait for the bleach to grow out I will, but I am hoping til that happens I can do something so it looks better/ feels better.

I would like to lose a stone by Novmber, maybe more if possible. If so do you have any advice on how I could do this safely and healthy. I have started eating smaller portions and healthier food and I have just joined a gym which I will be going to use as much times as I can. The reason I am saying November is because I am going on holiday then. Altogether I need to lose 5 stone which will take me longer and is a life time achievement, but if I lose a stone or 2 by November that would be a great start

I would like to lose 5 stone in weight as I am currently 19 stone in weight, which I know is very overweight. I need to lose the weight for my health as I am a bit worried that I could get ill due to my weight. Another reason I want to lose the weight is because I am starting college in August 2013 where I will be studying Early Education and hope to work with children, and I want to be fit enough to work with them and I am worried that people won't let me look after their kids due to being heavy. I know I can't lose the weight just like that, but I need advice please.

I am cleaning out my fridge and need to know what I should clean it with as I have never cleaned a fridge out before. What should I use?

I have 2 guinea pigs that live in the same hutch. I clean them out once a week, is that enough? By the end of the week the newspaper that I have lining the hutch is sodden with urine. Just so you know the hutch is lined with a thick layer of newspaper with hay in the bed area.

How often should I be cleaning them out? Thanks.

I naturally have thick, long, dark brown, almost black hair. In a weeks time I will be getting bleach in the bottom of my hair as i'm dip dying/ ombreing my hair at my hair dressers, once this happens i would like to keep my hair in as good condition as it can be with bleach, how can I do this? what shampoos and conditioner should I use? I have always wanted to grow my hair long and I am going to start it now, my hair is already just on my breast area when down, the thing is at the moment my hair has quite a lot of layers and at the bottom feels quite dry, I am assuming from split ends and from the layers, so this week I am getting a trim (my last trim!) just so the start of growing my hair is in good condition.

How do I keep my hair feeling and looking in good condition when growing the hair, I am not going to be going to the hair dressers to get it but anymore so it grows.

I am supposed to be getting my eyebrows threaded this week and I am kind of curious on what it feels like. I wanted to know if it feels like tweezing, if so I actually don't mind the feeling of that. Is it more painful? The reason I am not getting them waxed is because the last time I did that in another salon, the beautician took my skin off with the bit of eye brow she was waxing, so I am trying a different method, lol.

I am a 23 year old girl who lives in Scotland. I am very lucky to have a loving family, a roof over my friends, even though I don't have many of them, I do have them. I need to get a job, but I don't seem to have any luck, I would like to do something good with my life, don't know what, even if helped out at a charity shop, i'd like to help. I'd also like to make new friends, possibly one day even a boyfriend, but that will happen in time which I can wait.
