I met a guy who said he has an "ex wife," and feelings started moving really fast. Turns out, ex wife meant separated wife, not divorced. They re still waiting out the mandatory 1 yr separation. I don t know if I m comfortable dating during the divorce proceedings at all, but definitely not before the request for divorce has been filed. At what point is it okay to start dating? I don t know if it would be considered adultery after the paperwork has been started, or if is dating would make he divorce proceedings harder on him, where is it legal, when is it morally okay, etc. Thankfully, I didn t let things get physical before I found out.

I want my own pair of climbing shoes instead of renting, but my left foot is a size 7 and my right is a size 8. And at that, the left foot is still the looser of the two. I d rather not have to buy two pairs a at least $100 each. Anyone know of a good solution to this?

I have some purses j was planning to fill with things like sanitary pads, granola bars, peanut butter, toothpaste, baby wipes, socks, etc. and give to homeless women. I'm aware however, that many people on the street are beggars, not homeless. How can I make sure I'm giving the bag to someone who is actually homeless and could use it?

In nursing school, I had to get scrubs large enough to fit my boobs, which resulted in over sized, boxy scrubs; or smash my boobs down to get them into a scrub top that fit my waist line. I also need tall length scrubs. Can anyone suggest a brand that fits this body type? I'm buying mine next week. I'm 5'8, 130lbs, 32D. Thanks!

I know people have leash trained cats plenty, and have seen a few posts by people who take their cats camping / hiking with them. I think it would be awesome to have a hiking buddy.

Yes, I will go look at a shelter, but they usually have ideas of breed mixes there. I need a dog that can have a fairly high activity tolerance at times for when I go hiking (rocky, about 4-7 mi), but low enough that it will be okay in an apartment with just a 20 minute walk 3-4 times a week (I work 12 hr shifts). I dislike the look of most terrier breeds, and am a fan of spitz and shepherd looks, but don't have time for a lot of combing that most spitz require. Has to be relatively easy to train as I have never had a dog and don't have much experience with them. Maybe this isn't possible and I should stick with cats?

I am doing research on getting a dog and am having a hard time interpreting energy level requirements and capabilities. I want the dog to be able to go on moderate mountain hikes with me (4-8 miles) on occasion, 2-3 mile walks a few times a week, but not need more than 20 minute walks daily. I was thinking the hiking may too much for the smaller breed, but not being able to provide a fenced in yard might not allow enough activity for the Aussie. Any help? Living situation: apartment, no kids, cat.

I am looking for resources on owning / training a dog. I have never owned a dog , just lots of cats, so I really don't know much about what owning a dog is like. I am considering getting a dog in a few months but want to do my research and understand what is involved in owning one and how to train a dog. I want it well behaved, to be able to walk off leash and go on hikes with me.

I read online that the pets will be bigger the higher level they are, but the post was old so I'm not sure how accurate it still is, and my pets all appear to be the same size regardless of level. They also seem to simply level up to match me when I pull them out. How do I make them bigger? Mine look so sad and tiny.

I've been wearing the same sterling silver ring for over 7 years without problem, until recently. When I wear it, the top of my finger under the main ring design gets red bumps, swells, itches, hurts, then the skin cracks and peels. I take off the ring and let the finger heal, but within about a week of putting the ring back on it happens again. I'm a nursing student and thought maybe the hand sanitizer was getting trapped under it and causing the issue, but I've been using soap and water instead and it still happens. The inside of the ring is not solid, so I don't know if that's related. My other sterling silver ring does not cause this issue so it isn't an allergy.

When doing theatrical makeup where the two different lips need to be two different colors for an effect, how do you keep them from mixing? (ie a red top lip and white bottom leads to a pink bottom lip, not white. A Black top lip and red bottom leads to a grey bottom lip) I find the colors start bleeding into each other after about 5 mins. The wearer usually forgets they need to try and keep their lips apart, which really limits facial expression.

It's been two and a half years since I broke up with my first love. He was my first real relationship and I gave him everything, though I was originally planning on waiting for marriage, which I thought would happen for us. We occasionally have a short conversation to catch up and are still friendly. Long story short. After all this time I still think about him a lot. I am constanly saddened by the thought that I will never have such a deep and passionate love again. I have not had anywhere near the same feelings for anyone (except maybe a co-worker who had a gf and moved away). I don't get excited by other people and become extremely depressed when people say "there's no love like your first love." Is it really all down-hill from there? Why bother looking if no one else is going to be so exciting? Even though I have a very caring, kind, and adventurous boyfriend right now, my heart stomach still jumps to my throat when I see pictures of my ex with another girl on facebook. I'm tired of trying to get over him and not getting anywhere. Please help. How do I get over him?

This is not a troll question. I have had only female animals all my life. I want a pair of male rats rather than female rats because the males, as I have read, are much calmer and cuddlier, even sometimes known as "squishes" for their cuddly behavior.. Problem is rats' testicles are very large compared to body size and if someone handles male rats, the rats' balls are going to touch the person handling, no way around it. This freaks me out. The reason I have never had male hamsters or mice is due to the fact that their testicles freak me out. It's expensive to neuter male rats and is a risky medical procedure with little to no benefit to the animal so I don't want to do that. Any tips on dealing with this predicament? And no, I promise I'm not a troll. Rat balls really weird me out. -____- I know I'm strange.

Studying burn prevention for nursing class. Powerpoint just says "Change Your Clock Change Your Battery Campaign" and there is no explanation in the text book and google just turned up basic tips on smoke detector maintenance. Can someone just give a brief explanation of the campaign? Thanks.

I have really weak nails that bend and break, and I'm a nibbler, which doesn't help. I'm starting using nail growth polish to see if it helps. The directions say to apply one thin coat every other day. If I don't take off the old coat first, how will the vitamins get to my nail? The polish just builds up and peels off, which isn't good for the nail. I didn't think nail polish remover was healthy for nails either, but should I use it to take off the first coat before I put on the growth polish the next time?

There's this quote I've read before and can not find again; something about how it is fine for women to wear men's trousers because we want to be equal to men, but it is not acceptable for men to wear dresses because it is 'unacceptable' to be a woman. So I'm a college student and heard about a lot of people getting 'dates' from this thing called Tinder. Is it just about finding a hookup, or do people actually use it to try and find dates and build relationships? Because 1) I'm not a hookup girl. and 2) if I were, I don't need an app to help get some. Thanks for helping my technologically and socially challenged self! ^_^
