My mom is a high strung Asian woman that believes a tampon will take my virginity. I understand that it may break my hymen, but I understand that it can also be broken by doing strenuous, regular activities so I might have lost it already. She also thinks by using tampons, I will be too americanized lol. I am 16, I believe I am old enough to make choices for my own body. I mean, other kids my age are asking to go on the pill, and some parents are even willing to give their kids condoms for precaution. I'm not asking for that at all. I am very active and my flow is heavy so pads are uncomfortable to run around in and they also bleed through. How do I convince my mom to let me use tampons?

Breakfast: sandwich (180-cal flat bread wrap, 2slices of turkey, 1 leaf of cabbage), water

Lunch: a cup of quinoa, half an avacado and some broccoli

I will excersize for 30 minutes everyday with weight-training and some cardio (HIIT). Will this lifestyle allow me to lose weight? (Please do not give a simple "Yes, it will work.") Any advice? Thank you :)

I am currently a freshman in highschool, going into my sophomore year. I take advanced courses. I've spoken to my guidance counselor about trying accelerated classes, but since I am far into school and students have been talking those classes since 7th grade, it would be a hassle to take up. Hello! I am a freshman and I want to join my high school's varsity ski team in my junior or senior year. The coach said I have to be an intermediate skier to race for the team. She also mentioned something along the lines of GS and slalome skiing. I have never skied in my life. I am planning to train next year and at least start this year. I would be grateful for any advice in preparing to become a skiing racer. Also, is it possible to become an intermediate racer in a year? Thank you so much!

What would you rate the quality of Brandy Melville's skirts and why? I've heard their clothing is very soft and delicate, and due to that the threads come loose and the pieces are ruined. I am 14 years old. I weigh about 150 pound and I have the height of about 5"1. I have attended dance classes for 7 years, I have recently stopped to start track. I consider myself well adjusted when it comes to exercise. I try to eat healthy, I try to fit in some avocados and bananas and other healthy foods but I also eat things I want. I know to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you have consumed and that diet pills are bad for you, but I am very serious about losing weight and what I have been doing does not work. Please do not tell me diet pills are bad and that I should just exercise and eat right because so far in the 3 years that I have been trying to do so have not worked, at least for me. How do you approach questioning a doctor for diet pill at my age?
