Ive been feeding my betta fish Hikori Bio Gold pellets for about 3 or more weeks. Enjoys them alot and quickly eats them. Recebtly (about 4 days ago) he would eat them then spit them out. Once the spitten out food rises to the surface, it looks as if he attempts to go after it again, stares at it then loses interest.

Hours later , when its time to feed him again, I put one pellet in at a time and he quickly eats them so fast that it makes a splashing sound! then he spits it back out! I can tell hes hungry because of that then why does he spit it out?

Ive been doing a standard water change for the past week; changing from bottled water to tap water (of course with conditioner) Today i do a 100% water change to clean out his water with 75% water of tap water and 25% bottled. Of course from all the transporting from tank to tank was stressful for the fish and he naturally turned pale. but... hes still pale. its been hours and hes still pale. whats wrong with him???
