I am trying to design an AC to DC converter. I have looked at schematics and was wondering

if I actually need the voltage transformer. Can I connect the AC voltage directly to the bridge

rectifier?

I want all devices to have access to the DSL modem. TIA

I'm curious about the retrograde motion of Jupiter and Saturn...Does this indicate that I will have an unlucky life? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'm born on August 22nd. Sometimes my birth date falls on Leo and sometimes it's Virgo horoscopes. It's like I don't "fit" into either group. And the funny thing is, my life has always been the same way. I don't belong, no matter what I do or where I go. Okay, so here's my question. Do I read the Leo, the Virgo or do both apply to me?

I discovered that the air handling system at work was shut off because was in an area that contained known carcinogens(asbestos and mold). My coworkers and I have had health problems and I believe it is because the overhead fans in the kitchen have been drawing air from this hazardous area. I contacted OSHA and they told me to file a workman's compensation claim. Of course the company is now scrambling to cover all the violations. Should I get an attorney or wait for OSHA to come and access the situation?

I know that when a person touches their hair it is a "grooming signal" and when a person folds their arms it is a "defense signal". What does it mean when someone tugs down their shirt? Are they covering up or trying to groom?
