I had a tank that was 120 gallons with 2 oscars and a midas. The midas killed the oscars and I moved him to a different tank. I had a tank that was just sitting unfilled with some gravel and plants I used for a tropical tank a year ago. I filled that tank and am using it for my feeder fish. A day ago, I noticed baby snails in the tank. Would snail eggs lay dormant for a year? Would it come with the water from the goldfish (although there are no snails in that water)? No new plants or anything and the only snail in the tank had died 6 months ago and the tank was washed out and drained. Curious......

Who really cares if Jett Travolta was mentally ill or autistic? He was obviously a child who was loved by all his family and friends and was taken from their lives much too soon. Why is the Travolta`s religion such an issue here? If the Travolta`s were Catholic, no one would say a word. I believe that the family did everything possible to ensure their son had the correct diagnosis and medication for his illness. What parent would not want their child to live their life to the fullest? I don`t understand why the media doesn`t just let them grieve?

She had them this morning and they were dead because she had them in between the breeding net( I have 2 black molly fry) and the tank wall. Then it looked like she smooshed them( I only found 3 bodies)into the tank wall. Why would she do that? The fry weren`t even given a chance. I am assuming she is still pregnant so, I moved my breeding net to another tank. Is there anything else I can do?

I have 8 molly fish (2 dalmation, 2 black, 2 potbelly, 1 gold, and 1 silver) I was able to catch 2 baby mollies(black) and think I need a bigger tank. I have 16 gallons right now and was wondering how large should I get? They all get along great. I would like them to have more room. Would 20 gallons work?

We have 6 mollie fish. 2 black, 2 dalmation, 1 white, and 1 orange. Two mollies had babies. There were 3 black fry and 2 white fry. I left them with the other fish and now I can only find 2 black fry. I am assuming the other fish ate them because there were no bodies inside the filter. Either that or they are really good hiders. I have lots of plants and rocks for them to hide in. I watched the fry and have chosen to leave them with the other fish. They seem to outsmart and swim the bigger mollies and hide very well. Is this safe? I don`t want to find dead mollies but, I also don`t want to take them out of the environment they are used to. They are growing and seem to be happy. Does this make sense, or am being unrealistic?
