  • Question about buying an external Hard drive.?

Haven't been in the market in a while, and I noticed that external hard drives anywhere between 250GB all the way up to a TB are roughly the same price, so naturally I'm temtped to go with with the 1 TB model. Then I noticed 2 different 1 TB models from the same manufacturer at the same store were priced differently. So I'm wondering what spec or feature should I be looking for to get a good ext hard drive and avoid problems? Thanks for your advice.

  • How many times did Bush(dubya) visit Afghanistan and when? Same question regarding Bush and Iraq.?

I was looking this up and only came across 1 short 6 hour visit of a base in Iraq. I seem to remember more, but my memory is unclear, so I was wondering if anyone has more detailed information and can cite credible sources. I'm looking for thing like how many times, the dates and any other information you can give.

Opinions are fine and dandy, but I will select the best answer based on the information rather than the opinions.

  • What happened to the Gas Tax vacation?

Back in April, McCain and Hillary were talking about their brilliant idea to have a gas tax vacation beginning Memorial Day. It would have been 18 cents a gallon tax break. Gas was 3.51/gallon at my local gas station when I first heard McCain propose this and after the holiday weekend that he said it would begin...the new price is 4.08.

Did the 2 of them do anything at all to get this done, or was it just an empty promise they didn't ever intend to keep, just free votes from stupid people? What does it say about their leadership that it didn't happen?

Was it a good idea? Would the price of gas gone down at all? Or would they just pocket the extra change. If they did lower the price would we have noticed? Would the 25-40 dollars that optimists say it could save the average drive over the course of the summer make a difference?

Would it have hurt the economy in the long run?

Does it make Obama look like the wise one for avoinding the gimmick?

  • Do you have to wear a flag lapel pin to be a good president? Does not wearing one make you unpatriotic?

You don't need to watch the entire clips, just watch them long enough to get a good look at their lapel pins or lack thereof.

    John McCain:

  • Circular reasoning for lack of campaign contributions.?

People give money to candidates for a lot of reasons. And people don't give money to candidates for a number of reasons too. The one I really wonder about is those who say, I'm not giving any money to (insert your candidate here) until they do this(insert your issue and desired outcome).

I wonder how they think this will really happen, it's like the old saying, you can't get a job, without experience, and you can't get experience without a job. Same with credit and a loan, or chicken and the egg. Basically, it's circular reasoning. I won't help you get elected untill you fix my problem and you can't fix my problem untill you get elected.

Now we have chickens and eggs, we have jobs and experience and we have loans and credit so people do find a way into the loop, so to speak, I'm just wondering how you expect to get there?

Please answer only if you do feel this way about your own political donations.

  • What is the most important thing to you when you vote for President of the United States?

You can be specific or broad. If you want to mention side issues, go ahead, but I really doubt people vote for a President based on how much their wife makes, how many pantsuits they own or what their bowling score was. Is it a personality trait? Is it their record of getting things done? Is it their ability to Communicate? Is it their education, IQ? Is it their party? I could go on, but you get the point, let me know what is important to you.

I ask that you not answer if you do not vote.
