I was reading/watching an interview with a celebrity recently and she said this:

"For me, the idea of God, or the idea of spirit, has nothing to do with religion. God connects humanity while religion separates it and I don't think that was ever the Creator's intention."

Do you agree or disagree? What are your thoughts?

Recently I was listening to one of my current favorite songs and there are these lyrics in it ...

"And life’s gonna drop you down like the limbs of a tree

It sways and it swings and it bends until it makes you see"

It got me wondering if the image of life was accurate.

My dearest friend of 25 years just recently finished her chemo treatment for breast cancer. She had 8 treatments in total and was told that she'd have to have a mastectomy on her left breast. She recently went for a cat scan which I was told was rutine before she went to have her reconstructive surgery done - a transflap.

Well, it appeared that during the scan some areas on her hip and spine lit up. It was thought that she had bone cancer but the final pathology on the bone biopsy came back "inconclusive". It showed some suspicious cells but no actual cancer.

What are the chances that she has breast cancer that has metastasized to her bones and if it isn't that what else could it possibly be?

Most of her family are taking the "inconclusive" result as a positive thing but my intuition is telling me otherwise. Anyone have any experience with this sort of situation?

Can you remeber a time when you did the right thing for the wrong reason? What was the result? Have you ever done the wrong thing for the right reason? Of these two situations which turned out for the better? Why do you think the result came about?

The "good" witch does things that give her the instant reward in feeling ... well ... good.

The "good" witch says:

I noticed that someone already asked what other Wiccans will be doing for Beltane (since it is just around the corner) and the answer that was chosen as "Best Answer" was from PrairieCrow (I'm envious of your ability to celebrate with such a large group of like-minded individuals) but since I won't be able to partake in such a large Beltane celebration - I'm curious what the other solitaries here are doing to celebrate the Sabbat.

Does anyone belong to a Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUPPS) group? If so do you find it benificial or just a hinderance? What do you get from it that you can't find elsewere ... if anything at all?
