so my friend is going away for a few months and its his birthday so i've seen a fire alarm shaped emergency food tin and I'm wondering what i should put in it?! He doesn't really like sweet stuff so I'm thinking savoury snacks that aren't fresh and will keep inside a tin?!

I'm getting my first horse in the next few weeks and I'm just after a bi of advice on settling him and making him comfortable...there's mixed guidelines on the Internet because some people say you should ride and just put him straight in with the other horses but I would t feel comfortable doing either! Any tips or behaviour I should be looking out for?!

Ok basically I 6 weeks ago (2 weeks before last months period) I was sexually assaulted... You can fill in the rest... So I had my period 2 weeks after it happened and it didn't happen after that. So I've come on my period again today (3 days early) but the blood seems to be of a much more thinner consistency and a lot more lighter/brown colour.... Is there any chance I could be pregnant even though I had my period my last month after It happened?!

I have some texts that I want to recover from my iphone 4, i can't do it the usual way, because i deleted them yesterday and then syncd my phone this morning.... is there anywhere i can send my iphone to to have them retrieve the texts? I'm with vodafone so can vodafone retrieve them? I they can do they require both the phone and microsim? Also all these software downloads you can get, how reliable are the and can they still recover messages deleted before you re-syncd with computer? Any other suggestions will be welcome!

Also does anyone know how long vodafone keep deleted messages on their systems for?

Since September i've been sat next to this guy in biology and we get on really well! He's soo lovely and at first I just regarded him as the "really nice guy from biology" as he isn't usually what I go for. Anyway, the seating plan changed around xmas and he still came and sat next to me so there was just us two on a table and I started to really like him even more! So anyway, we semi-flirt a lot in lesson and he always walks me to my next lesson and waits outside with me and talks! He always takes the mick out of me as well, which is really cute because I know not to take him seriously! For those you watch TOWIE, he reminds me a bit of Joey Essex! <3 so we were talking about what we look for in potential partners and he said that i'm too modest and he would rate me 4/4 of the things he looks for! We get on really well and I actually get butterflies before biology! But i don't have his number! So is it ok for a girl to ask a guy for his number and if so how should I go about it! But i'm not even sure if he likes me, as I've never had a bf before and I don't know if it is me looking into the signs a bit too much having had no experience, or him just being a nice guy!

Ok ive just a bought a journal to start writing diary enteries of all my work experience i'm doing so I can apply for veterinary science next year, but i don't know how to write about it as opposed to... "on such a day I went here and did this..." it has to be interesting. I was thinking of making it like a scrapbook kinda thing and printing off some articles in my chosen field and critically analysing as well as doing some case studies on different illnesses/cases I have seen on my farm experience and at the veterinary surgery I work at! Any ideas of how to start it though, i'm usually ok when I've got going! thanks in advance!

ok I'm just wondering what exactly a case study is and how you write one. So if i'm doing work experience at a farm and I note down specific observations say on the husbandry of cattle, how would I do a case study? (i'm not doing one on cows btw! just an example!)

Ok my best mate is on holiday in Canada so i've had to come here:

so i've been at college for little over a month and there is this guy who was in my chemistry (he dropped it cos he couldn't handle it!) and we got on really well! He asked me for my number in like our first week and he lives round the corner from me. The other day i walked into the library and he rang me and said "look up" so i did nd he was sat down and said come over! so i did n i was sat talking. then i text him yesterday and we went for a walk (walking the dog is a great excuse to meet)! now i was expecting him to make an excuse as to why he couldn't come with me to walk my dog (which is what a guy would do if they weren't interested), but he didn't and as i was walking to meet him he rang me and stayed on the phone until i got to him! which i thought was really sweet!

So does this guy like me or am i reading into things a bit too much?? If so what can i do, cos i really like this guy! He's so amazing! Any tips on how to talk to him and interact etc? just general advice on how the male mind works really!

Hi i'm looking to los a stone and a half, but i want to do it healthily. I'm not overweight or anything but i've put on a stone over the summer hols and would like to lose that, plus half a stone too. Now I am a mad chocoholic and i need some tips and strategies to combat it! its no good to tell me to eat healthily because when i've tried diets in the past i've so called 'eaten healthily' i miss out dinner and eat little bits, which doesn't work because then i don't stick to it after like a week! Also slim fast is out of the picture and anything like that because my mum won't let me do it! :-|

I've got a 15 year old TB mare, ex racehorse, who has been out of work for about 2 years. I have just got her about a month n half ago and have been doing random work in the paddock, but i'm not sure where to start. she's picked up some bad habits with her last owner, so she won't bend her head into her neck because of weak muscles or summet and if u try to get her to d it, e.g using a de gogue, she pulls and will apparently flip over! :-[ so what exercises can i do to train her in the paddock and is it worth investing in those rein things that replicate the perfect pair of hands? also she has no feeling in the back of her mouth as a result of harsh pulling (previous owners). therefore should i get a hackamore rather than the reins mentioned above....any other tips would b welcome! :-)

As the statement above says, I have hair on my upper lip. But how do I get rid of it? I've asked my mum about hair removal creams like nair, but she says they won't work, but it's really thick n noticeable n I hate my face! Will removal creams work or will the hair grow back quicker and thicker?! Please help!!!
