since the DNC is so obviously crocked (much like Hillary herself), are you going to be completely disgusted and just stay home in November?

I've heard the argument pro-abortion that the mortality rate among pregnant women went up in Texas after they cracked down on abortion. My opinion is that those women had a choice to do something that could end their life; the aborted child does not.
9 AntwortenPregnancyvor 5 JahrenA co-worker is driving me nuts! She knows everything and butts into conversations; she says quite frequently,?
" Gonna thank me for being nice?" when she has done something nice for someone (often includes just doing her job); when I ask her for supplies (she's in charge of them), she always says, "no" first...then smiles and says yes. I've been in the workplace for 35 years, at this business for 24 years, and can usually get along with anybody, but this person drives me crazy! She has good qualities but they are outweighed by her annoying personality.
Do you work with someone like that? Avoiding her is impossible but I do my best. Any suggestions?
Thanks for letting me vent!

This celebrity thinks so! lol
Singer Lauryn Hill Blames Slavery For Not Paying Taxes
05/08/13
From Newsbusters:
Every now and then, some celebrity gets caught breaking the law and counts on his or her fame in getting off the hook, no matter how lame an excuse that's given. That was the case with Grammy Award-winning hip hop singer Lauryn Hill, who in federal court on Monday compared her experience in the music business to the slavery her ancestors endured.
Nevertheless, U.S. Magistrate Madeline Cox Arleo sentenced the liberal performer -- who pleaded guilty to the tax evasion charge last year -- to three months in prison for not paying $1 million in taxes over the past decade, as well as a $60,000 fine.
"I am a child of former slaves who had a system imposed on them," the 37-year-old performer from South Orange, N.J., stated while occasionally pounding her fist on the podium. "I had an economic system imposed on me."
That “system” didn't seem to treat her poorly when the singer earned more than $1.8 million from 2005 to 2007, in addition to unpaid state and federal taxes in 2008 and 2009, which brought the total of earnings to approximately $2.3 million.
Hill recently posted this message on the Tumblr website regarding her situation:
I’ve remained silent, after an extensive healing process. This has been a 10+ year battle, for a long time played out behind closed doors, but now in front of the public eye.
I’ve been fighting for existential and economic freedom, which means the freedom to create and live without someone threatening, controlling, and/or manipulating the art and the artist, by tying the purse strings.

Starbucks CEO tells shareholders to sell their shares if they support traditional one-man, one-woman marriage. That's enough for me to make the decision that his company won't get any more of my hard-earned money. There are plenty of other choices in coffee.
16 AntwortenPoliticsvor 8 JahrenBased on past comments and actions, is Chris Matthews really believable anymore?
Matthews said “I'm so glad we had that storm last week because I think the storm was one of those things... No, politically I should say. Not in terms of hurting people. The storm brought in possibilities for good politics." How moronic a statement is that!!! I think that tingle up his leg has finally encompassed what little brain he had to begin with!!
Good politics for our nation or just for his political party?
I used to watch him regularly, but that was a number of years ago. He has become so very liberal in his commentary that I don't think he's taken seriously anymore by anybody but other liberals.
5 AntwortenPoliticsvor 9 JahrenIs this just more media propoganda?
Yahoo News shows obama crying when addressing his campaign workers...thanking them for the astounding work they did (tend to agree that his win WAS astounding). Where's all the insensitive and biased comments from the news media, as well as those who comment on here, about the crying president? These same entities wasted no time at all bashing the speaker of the house for showing emotion in public. Isn't it a shame how political bias can take the humanity out of people? Isn't it even worse how the media play on these occurances to create psuedo newsworthy items that trend towards their political agenda?
