ive always been tech guy that relies on what HP, dell and even my company throws at me for he network and then ill fix it if it needs to. for a hame project though i made a PC 4 gig ddr2, Intel core 2 duo, a gigabyte mobo (does support more than 4gig), 2TB HDD, not doing anything graphic intence so just an onboard grapics card, win7 ultimate 32 bit

obviously win7 32bit can only use 3gig ram and i have a whole 1 gig unusable. can this cause a problem. when i had both sticks in it would freeze, than i would use the power button to turn it off (btw no bsod on the freeze just my last activity) then i turn it back on and it sits and beeps untill i turn it off again.

i removed a stick and it runs fine now i called gigabyte and thy said something about the ram not syncronising, if i installindows 7 64 will i beable to use the 4 gig ram and not have this problem again

i have an ubuntu web server and im having a complication because it is all in console (which im not very used to I LOVE GUI'S) well i need to find out how to get my external ip from it ive been binging and googling and asking and yahooing but i cant find anything that will help the computer has ubuntu 8.04 (hope hat helps) im having lots of problems not with the computer but geting it to other computers im trying to make it work with no-ip but then thats a little imposible because its not windows and theres no gui so i cant even get to the page with it any ideas hints tips tuts and walk throughs are welcome

hi im runnig a server off an ubuntu 8.04 box and everything is wroking except when i try to access the site instead of showing the page it downloads it to the computer

well im a companys assosiate IT I was just promoted because the head IT was fired Because we were having some security issues with

security we think its because on the windows logon client it had the server ip in the "domain" box (were you pick from the network or local computer) we have a domain with go daddy and we want to know how to make it so if in the "domian" box it says whatever.mydomian.com it will forward the client to the server help would be appreciated the last IT left alot of things unfinished im trying to clean it all up i would pull out my books but im so busy fixing stuff i cant right now Thanks =)

Ok i bought a domain from Godaddy.com and it costs extra to get there webhosting and i had a free website (subdomain on Moonfruit) i need to know how to forward my go daddy domain to my old one

(ex: when they type my domain in it will send them to my old one)
