Is the song "Dare" by Gorillaz in a movie?
I heard the song for the first time the other day, and it sounds so familiar. But I can't put my finger on it... Is it in a movie or something?

I know what it means, but I'm having a hard time putting it into words for my friend. If anyone has a definition or explanation of it that would be great. Thanks!

2 AntwortenRock and Popvor 1 JahrzehntWhat is it called when a phrase sounds a particular way because the listener expects it to?
For example, often times when people listen to music backwards and they hear messages because they're looking for them.
Say they make a video with words corresponding to the messages, and the person watching the video hears the message because they're told what to hear.
Take for example this video:

The man says "garbage day." Unless you expect him to say "carpet stain."
It's sometimes referred to as "can't be unheard" but that can't be the scientific name for the phenomenon. I'd like to read more about it. Is there an official name for it?
