So I'm not one to go here for help. But now I'll do anything. Only last night my now ex girlfriend broke up with me after nearly a 1 1/2 years. Not a lifetime, but for our age it is. I know many people lose their first love, but I'm not willing to yet. It happened suddenly & I didnt see this coming. We got in a fight about living conditions. I barely see her because her parents are very strict & shelter her. **but i should say we went on a nice small date only the day of the night we fought. We've got in fights before. Never physical and in fact never in person. Reasonable things.

I'm getting off topic. Our fight was based on the fact that shes older than myself and plans to attend a universty in another city. Some notable facts are that she doesnt have a license and surely can not afford a car. Im one year behind (shes graduating in may as a senior and I started jr college as a 17 yr old in order to somewhat catch up to her) I wanted to transfer to the jr college in the city of her university she wishes to attend and get an apartment and live with her and she just wanted to go to a dorm. Shes very much so in the lower class and dorms there are very expensive of course i offered to house her feed her and live with her at no cost but she just had this planned and that upset me because it was the first sight of seeing her the way ive always wanted i expressed that and she was very stuck on her decision. Confusion turned to sorrow and depression and then the fight started. I was very selfish about that.

After the fight the next day. I went to school and was txting her (were still together at this point) during my first class we talked about the fight, which wasnt easy of course and caused a little too much drama than needed. After that first class ended she started implying that she was leaving. I confronted her saying things like 'How can you say that? ......' and to my disbelief she said she was leaving. During my next class i talked to her and paid no attention to my teacher. I thought maybe todays just a bad day? and she wasnt serious she had to leave after i was begging her.. telling her she didnt want this.. maybe she needed time? maybe she could calm before deciding that?

Later that night she agreed to call. I was crying throughout the whole thing. Begging her to stay. And she barely softened up... she said 'No.. I can't' .. 'I cant be in this relationship anymore' 'For me & myself' She repeated that for an hour and hung up. (During the whole break up process I never saw her)

And today is the day after and i went through school without breaking down and I sent her a few txts mature txts thanking her for what shes given me. Apologizing for everything i did wrong. And I mentioned I would be her friend, close friend if she wished, or ex who wants her back... depending on my mood because honestly i couldnt decide so quickly

But now I know if theres anything I can do. Ill do it. I know acting mature, letting her have her space will help. But im sensitive . now more than ever its been one day. And i sent that one txt. And just recently couldnt help myself from calling telling her i want her back. I broke down halfway through that call unfortunately and im not sure what to do now. I see shes on fb.. I set my phone to send me updates of her statuses when we were together.

Its been one very long day.

Hey I need help with a upcoming purchase I'm planning to make. I need a stand-up scooter to get to college/ back/ more every day next year. The state I live in does not permit a motorized bike/ moped ( or anything that is motorized with a seat) to be driven without a driver's or a motorcycle license- and I have neither.

I graduated early and because I'm going to college I have no money.. but because I don't need to pay for insurance on a car or motorcycle ( and I'm a young male so I'm glad ) I have managed to get a $1200 budget which is pretty fair I'd say.

So I looked around online and found 2 respectable scooters - One is electric - On is petrol powered

and I would like to know which of these I should choose or if there is another option that would work better for me? -

The petrol version is a GoPed brand scooter - the GSr46R - Pretty fast 35 mph+ stock.. but because this is my little scooter, and like anyone with a car, I'm looking to tune it up.. and I have an arrangement that is just under 1200 dollars that will get this thing going upwards to 50+, of course I don't need that speed, but I figured if I'm spending this kinda money on a scooter, its gotta be nice, I also plan to use this as entertainment as well

It took me quite a while to find a Lithium powered scooter for this price, and with this power... I refuse to get a Sealed Lead Acid battery because while I surely can do without the weight, and charging time.. the life span is what concerns me. This scooter company claims this thing will last upwards of 1000-1500 cycles which is pleasing... but with a top speed of (possibly) 32 mph its a little upsetting because again I don't need the speed for the general transportation, I would certainly use it if I could.

Pros & Cons of the Gas Scooter-

Pros first-

Name Brand, Well known, & Trusted Company (and site)

Speed - Tuned, I can ride this thing going (up to) 55 which may be illegal but I don't mind ;)

Life Span - Some Years, I will take care of it

Perfectly Priced & Customized

Cons

Noise - This is the reason these things are illegal in other states and I don't want that to happen here, because of me. Its louder with the expansion chamber I would apply but I've put many silencers and smoother mechanisms into the design I wish to buy (hopefully will help)

Gas/Oil - Surely Gas isn't a problem, I believe it gets about 60+ mpg and runs 21 miles per 1.5l tank.. which is good.. but its partially oil.. I'm not sure how much is used per tank, I haven't crunched the numbers but it may concern me if I need to buy specific oil every now and then just to use this thing- depends on how often

Electric---------

Pros

1000 watt Battery - Best you can get in a stock scooter

Lithium - Lasts Longer, Lighter, More powerful, Faster Charge

32 mph top speed - Great for electric .. Might be worth it

Rechargeable.. simplicity is nice :P

Silent - Perfect

Cons

Brand - Good Product Reviews & Customer Service - Not as known as GoPed

Stock- No customization/ personality :(

Speed - Good & Bad - can't decide - I just don't want to be disappointed . and I know I wont with the gas version

In Colorado does a moped need functional pedals to be considered an "electric bike" (or "motorized bike"), or can one do without?

Are there any power restrictions?

But after about 3 min tops I heard a bang and the engine cut out.. I checked around and there were no apparent rocks or debris however there very well could have been.. I checked under the hood and there was nothing foreign. So i decided to start the mower again and the starter chord seems to lock up before I can roll the engine.

Is there any way I can fix this problem now and finish the lawn?

Hey I've recently started to re-learn an amazing instrument; the cello.

But I have a different cello than last time...

Whenever I am tuning it, I will turn the peg and have a near/exact pitch that I want... but it won't stay. It will just shoot back... Is it just me? The cello? .. Tips on how to- Best Answer
