A priest is answering a reporter's question (not serisouly). he says: "perhaps I should give your readers a tip for the three-thirty". His answer makes the reporter very unhappy, i guess because he's not being serious( They're supposed to talk about religion)

What is "the three-thirty"? Please, the story in the novel may take place in Sydney in 1960s. And somewhere later, there's mention of "four thirty" as time.
