I can tell you the blood type of the men I served with in the Marine Corps. I can tell you their religion, their wife’s name, their girl friends names, their kids’ name, their pets’ name. I could even tell you the name of their favorite sports teams but I never knew if they were Republican or Democrat and I did not give a damn. Anyone who thinks patriotism is determined by which political party you support or if you are a liberal or a conservative does not know what true patriotism is. Psalm 27: 1,3 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
