Name to complete the sibset?
My friend is due in 4 months and stuck on names.
She already has two girls:
Naomi Rachèl - called Rachèl (or Ras)
Shannah Gwendelynn - called Gwendelynn (or Gwen)
She is set on the middle name Dyami, so the baby will be called Dyami. She will use this name for or boy or a girl (yeah she knows it's a boys name but she doesn't care).
What name do you think could fit as a first name to complete the sibset. Either boy or girl names since she doesn't know what she is having.
Last name starts with a G.
4 AntwortenBaby Namesvor 8 JahrenSerious problem, don't know what to do?
Okay so I have a problem.
I've been a member of a sports club (swimming) for 20 years now. About 8 years ago I started giving instruction lessons to children. I love it. About 7 years ago I started giving swim training to kids who just start with speed swimming (swimkick). I might love it even more. I do all this for 6 hours a week voluntary besides work and school.
Last year a fight happened in the trainers staff. I let to 2 trainers and a dozen of kids leaving the club... I was on the side of the trainers that left but since I wasn't involved I thought it was best if I stayed out of it. This season we run in on theme on different races and our club kinda ignores them. I see no reason for this since I didn't have a fight, so I just chat with them and stuff. I still think of them as friends.
This season me and my co-trainer got G in our group. G is a six year old girl and the daughter of our good friends, We have 4 other kids in our group that are a little older 9 and 8 years old, they happen to follow the fast track. So they learn things faster as G. The coordinator of the swimkick thinks its okay G is in this group since she is average and can't help it the rest is faster. Also the group she otherwise would be in is no good for her.
There is this instructor/trainer H who is my boss in the instruction department but my equal in the swimkick. She is spreading rumors that G can't swim and shouldn't be in the swimkick to begin with (I guess you can see I don't agree). She has told me this in person.
G's sister R is in water polo training with H and she has grabbed her by her arm hard during a match.
H also said it was no problem there was a hookah in the cafeteria because the only kids that come there regularly are R and G and they would grow up to be criminals anyway(in person to me)
M and T (the girls parents) used to be swimming instructors too. But since T got cervical cancer and said she wouldn't be back until she was recovered. Two weeks later they were both off the list, were told to hand in there uniforms, and don't come back.
Now I got this email from the board director. Me and my co-trainer are supposed to meet with them tomorrow because apparently we aren't functioning right. We asked them what it was about and they said it was about our friendship with M and T. When we told M and T (we are very close, the girls call my mother granny) they said they were through and the girls would leave the club. I totally agree with them. The girls should do something they love in an environment that clearly is so against them.
My problem is. I don't know what to do. On one hand I'm so done with all the clandestine behaviour, the back stabbing, the *** kissing of some. But on the other hand. I have for other kids in the group who have half a year left in the swimkick, I love to give training and don't know if I could do it at a different club and I have this loyal feeling that I just can't leave the other kids who I trained (because they now have a very bad trainer since the other trainer left last year) and I have a lot of friends there.
I'm going to this meeting thing tomorrow, but I'm not sure what to do next.
What would you do, talk to them, just leave the club or stay and keep my mouth shut (what I did last year)

3 AntwortenBaby Namesvor 8 JahrenQuestion about Evelyn?
I like the name Evelyn (pronounced Eve - lyn), but I'm not really a fan of how it looks. I'm just not sure about the lyn part.
I'm from the Netherlands and both Evelien (Ay-vuh-leen) and Eveline (Ay-vuh-lee-nuh) are normal common names. I really like how Eveline looks but I don't like the pronunciation.
Do you guys know a different spelling of Evelyn, that's pronounced Eve-lyn?I could only think of Evelin, do you think that would give me the pronunciation I like?
(Not pregnant, just love thinking about names)
