I was arrested as a juvenile and charged with 3 offenses in Virginia. I currently work as a police auxiliary which is a student position at my university. The Lt. here at my job advised me that I had an arrest record and that I should expunge it. How do I do this if I was not arrested again after the fact. Do I take it up with Virginia? Or Maryland which is my home state? I am planning on applying as an officer and I know I will disclose the information either way but I have been told that an expungement looks better

I own a 2001 VW Passat and have recently exchanged a 146k engine with a 96k engine. The mechanic who did the installation said I should change the fluid in the transmission since the new engine has more power than the old. I want to take it to a shop but by reading through some stuff I've noticed that changing the fluid after 100k isn't good. I have no idea of who owned this car previously and highly doubt they did any maintenance since the engine went out. What should I do?

I have a VW Passat that is a 4 cylinder vehicle with turbo. My engine code is AUG which apparently is the most expensive one, lucky me. I am stuck with the dilema of finding a new engine because my old one has gone out. It just occured to me today about fixing it. When I bought it, I knew it was damaged but I thought i could repair it before it went out. It threw smoke out of the exhaust pipe and would make a clicking noise when running at low speeds. Once it picked up momentum it ran so smoothly. All of a sudden while bringing it home it made a loud clunk sound and turned off and now it does not turn on. I was told at first it might have been something with the head gasket or something along those lines. What would any of you mechanics out there recommend in order to save the most money? I haven't really tried looking hard but the cheapest engine I've found is $1,750.

My tv says i have a built in tuner but i dont know what that means or how to use it. Any one care to shed some light? This is my tv

I am having a bit of trouble with these problems but if i can have some one explain to me step-bystep how they solved this problem I think I can do much better. Please don't just solve, explain.

what would you guys pick? Is going plasma a good idea? 720 isn't much of a difference with 1080, so I've heard?

n = 5? WRONG

Hi all, a quick question for those who may know. I was scheduled to leave for boot camp a few days ago. My recruiters have apparently lost contact with me since the summer (i enrolled in feb.). I do regret signing up but have no problem leaving and dealing with my actions, however i did not want to spend christmas and new years there so i did not bother to contact them either. What should I do now? I was planning on contacting them in january, after new years, to see what happened. Any intelligent suggestions?

I bought a used 2001 cluster from a junkyard because mines did not work. Upon swaping i noticed that the mileage did not change from the 2001 vehicle so it is showing a much higher mileage, can i change it to my original mileage?

I had the disc from itunes about a year ago but i forget the name and now i want to get it again but can't find it. I just installed an afternarket radio into a honda civic 98 that i just bought. After installing i realized the radio shut off for a second when i pressed the brakes or turned on the lights. I then left that alone and my friend gave me a start and the car was working again. I tried installing an alarm the next day and it drained on me again! Idk if it had a keyless entry but is this what may be wrong? Does removing the factory radio effect the car's security or something which drains it? Honda specific answers please, no general answers because they dont help. Thanks

I had some trouble with a Woodbridge, VA Koons salesman in which i almost got into a fist fight with him because i wanted to compare prices before buying their vehicle. How can i report this to a higher authority, for example, Jim Koons? They took a $200 deposit i made because i had the car for 2 days, that's really not fair. I've tried looking at their site but it just goes in circles and gives no straight out answer. I go to the University of MD and am enrolled in the Navy Reserve. I want to live on campus but don't work because i am a full-time student. Would the GI Bill help me pay this since it is related with school? I have a truck in which I am selling and have paid it off from my lender. When it was paid off, another title was sent through mail. I lost this title but not the first one. Will the 1st title still function when selling it or do i have to get a replacement?
