48in Cue on a 9' Table?
I have the chance to buy a 9' table, if I use a 48" cue there would be no clearance issues, a 53" cue would be very minor issues and 57" is no doable in my opinion. How awkward would it be to play on a 9' table with 48" cues?
Thanks for your help

I recently purchased a 2012 Dodge Charger and it has a USB port that I can plug a thumb drive into with music on it. I was wondering if a Western Digital - My Passport Essential 500GB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive model number WDBACY5000ABK-NESN would work the same way? How much would heat/cold affect it if I left it in the car 24/7? What other concerns should I have with doing this?

3 AntwortenOther - Hardwarevor 9 JahrenWhat should I look at when buying a used pool table?
I am in the process of buying a used 4'x8' Valley pool table from a guy. I was wondering what all I should look at when I look it over before I buy it? It was used in a bar so it obviously will have dents and dings on it. The table will need to have new felt put on to it too. He is going to give me a set of balls, a rack, a few cues and a bar light (the green one with 3 shades on it). He is asking $400 for it, including delivery and set up. What are your thoughts? What do I need to look at with the table? How do I know if there are dead bumpers?
Any help is appreciated,

3 AntwortenSnooker & Poolvor 9 JahrenWhich is better Battlefield 3 or MW3 and why?
I understand that it's all opinion. I'm mainly buying the game so I can play online with a friend that I no longer live close too. What are the main differences in the games and why would you buy one over the other. I will be playing the co-op games with him, some multiplayer and campaign in my spare time. What are the pros and cons of each game in your opinion.

7 AntwortenVideo & Online Gamesvor 10 JahrenClub re-grip and re-grooving?
I bought my set of clubs back in 1999 and golfed a lot back then, took a few years off and just started back up again last year, I'm shooting 100-105 per round. I know I need new clubs, but right now it's not in the budget. I think it would be best if I took some lessons and maybe get fitted for my next set. I was wondering though in the meantime while I'm waiting to get my next set, which wont be until next year sometime, would it be worth getting my clubs re-gripped and re-grooved? If so, what is a good set of grips to go with?

1 AntwortVideo & Online Gamesvor 1 JahrzehntHow to start out running?
I really really hate running with a passion. I've asked people why they like running and get the answer, because it's fun. I don't believe that because never once have I seen a person smiling and/or look like they are having a blast while they are running. They always look like they are in pain, huffing and puffing and just look like they want to stop.
I was in the military for eight years and the hardest part for me during the Physical Training test was always the two mile run. I could crush the sit-ups and push-ups, but the run sucked and I would just barely pass it. I have now been out of the Army for three years and I'm out of shape. I have started taking a Martial Arts class and started a workout route, but without the running part. I am losing weight and I'm down from where I was a few months ago, but not where I want to be at. I'd like to start a running routine and was wondering what are some suggestions you have to help me run better and get more supposed "Enjoyment" out of running?
If you could break it down for me as much as possible, do you run heel toe heel toe or is it on the balls of your feet. I had a very hard time breathing, it always seemed like no matter what I tried I could never get or keep a good breathing pattern and it seemed like I was always gasping for air. How do you breathe, I've heard in through nose out through mouth or all nose etc.. How do you prevent shin splints? When I ran before in the Army I would get horrible pains in my shins after I was done running, how do you stop that from happening. I understand the whole, run through the pain, I believe I am very strong minded and can push my self past the side cramps or the thinking issue of man I just want to stop, but when you can't breathe and my shins are on fire after, that's a lot harder to keep myself motivated.
What do you suggest as a routine? I was thinking of trying to run a quarter of a mile to a half mile every other day for a month. Then go over how I think I'm doing and where I'm at and go from there. What about, running the straights of a track and fast pace walk on the turns?
Basically any and all helpful information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
thisguy
