Do fashion designers, professionals and small business seamstresses use sergers or something else? what are the disadvantages of a serger / and a regular sewing machine.

I want to sew my own clothes. Stuff that looks normal, professional and not too home-made.I am seeking to sew shirts, skirts and would love tips on how to sew jeans and denim skirts, too. I know you have to start simple, but what are the basic items I will need to create my own clothes? machine, material, string, scissors, pins, and what else? Please recommend brands of material, especially Earth friendly stuff.

I am trying to begin to work out on a regular basis and also just try to be better in all area's of my life? So my birth name is Toyanne pronounced "TOY" like a child's toy and Anne like the name Anne. I haven't liked it since I was 4 years old, no kidding. I thought maybe I'd grow into it or something, but no. I want to change my name to Tallulah Grace. "Ta-loo-luh" is how you pronounce it, roughly. I figure my parents wanted me to have a weird name with a T so there you go. It also has the same numeric value in numerology as my original first name. Both my parents are deceased now but I believe that after loathing my name for 21 years+ they would not mind if I changed it. So again I want to change my name from "Toyanne Amber" to "Tallulah Grace".

I like Amber ok but my dad picked both my names, and my mom wanted to name my middle name as Grace. I want to honor my mom by adding Grace as my middle name. Should I change it to "Tallulah Amber Grace Puck" or just "Tallulah Grace Puck?" What do you think of the name "Toyanne"? Is my last name ok with that? All opinions and ideas appreciated!

Not cat allergies. Not traditional pink eye. Been to many doctors all of whom are scratching their heads. It is getting worse. I looked up chlamydia, and that doesn't seem to be the case. Nor does mere"dry eyes" this is in one eye and is painful from my brow to the bottom lid , but especially the eyeball itself. Please help!!!! My eyes look red and i have a little discharge in my eyes when i wake up, but only sometimes, and it is not like the pink eye i have had in the past.not at all. it is like somebody punched my eye. and then, it goes away, or almost seems to, then it swings back into action and puts my little eye in misery. I have no health insurance and i have spent over $700 trying to fix this. A rare exotic disease? A new form of pink eye? cataract rupture? an ancient fated curse? what is this? any ideas are much appreciated!!!

I am going to get an alchemical sun on my ankle, but the face will be very antique looking- not cartoony. I am looking for an artist that excels in symmetry and preferabley a woman, but a good tattoo artist is a good tattoo artist and I would accept a man, too.
