When moving to another state, how do you bring your weapons with you?
Let's say you live in Texas and would like to move to Nevada, but you have a large knife/sword/gun collection. How would you bring these potential weapons to your new home?
3 AntwortenPacking & Preparationvor 7 JahrenWhat spine arrows do I need for my bow?
I recently purchased a 110# horse bow and do not know what types of arrows to use. It has no arrow shelf, and my shooting style is using a thumb ring, with the arrow on the right side for right handed. I purchased this bow primarily for collection and recreation, but I also plan on using it for hunting. So what arrows should I use? Any help with specific models or websites would be great, but I am not great at building wooden arrows from scratch, so I don't think homemade is a possibility. Thanks.

1 AntwortMaintenance & Repairsvor 7 JahrenHow do hang gliders work, exactly?
I can't find the answer to this anywhere, probably because this is common sense, but when you hang glide, do you constantly glide forward or do you have to steer forward? Could you float directly downward without wind like a parachute? Could you ride a hang glider backwards/with the rear facing forward? If the hang glider automatically moves forward, if you lean back will you stall like an airplane or float vertically down? Can you safely slow down by leaning back? Is it possible, with really good balance, to glide with the glider upside down? What does the delta shape of the glider have to do with all of this? Could a hang glider be of a different shape and function the same (ex. rectangular)? Any other physics stuff I might want to know? Please explain your answers. Thanks.

Your shoes sucked anyways. You're not nice.

Every day I'm shuffling. Everyday supplements can help your diet.

Then, I tore his throat out. More than enough times have I killed.

Accept the fact that pinky toes are obsolete. Except for when walking, the other toes also suck.

6 AntwortenWords & Wordplayvor 7 JahrenHow do you farm? (I ran out of characters in the description, hope you understand what I mean) Thanks?
Hello. I am 15 years old and have taken into heavy consideration owning a farm when I am older to produce my own food and simply because I want to be outdoors more. But here's the problem: I am a southern Californian, so I know nothing of farming, besides plant, wait, eat. Considering my future plan will be self sustaining, I did some research for the best things to raise for maximum nutrition. I came up with black beans of some sort (what type would be best?), chickens (can they healthily eat beans?), and some other crops (what crops would be good?). I plan to move to somewhere in Alaska for cheaper land. My question is would this setup work out? What kind of climate do black beans need? How many acres of land would be sufficient for renewable black beans for me, my chickens, and replanting? What time of year should I plant? How many chickens would be enough for them to reproduce and me to eat? How many chickens is too much? Bla bla etc. If anything doesn't work explain how I can fix.
3 AntwortenAgriculturevor 7 JahrenPhysics of traditional vs compound bow.?
If you had one exactly 50# recurve and one exactly 50# compound and shot the exact same arrow at the exact same draw length with exact same release and both had exact same arrow rest, would the arrows fly at the same speed, or would the compound fire faster?
I honestly have no idea.
Btw remember arrow weight, spine, tip, fletching, length, and everything in between exactly the same.

If you had unlimited chickens, eggs, wheat, yeast, tomatoes, onions (including green), and olive oil, what would be the healthiest breakfast, lunch, and dinner (including quantity and preparation)? What easy-to-grow renewable plants would be a healthy addition?

4 AntwortenBiologyvor 8 JahrenWhat is the most reliable recurve bow?
I'm looking for a strong recurve bow that can last for generations of being used and shot. Preferably not wood because wood can wear out more quickly. Is the Black Swan Recurve good? I'm preparing for the zombie apocalypse next week and need a ranged weapon that I can use until I die (guns wear out and have limited ammunition, while you can make arrows from a tree).
4 AntwortenHuntingvor 8 JahrenWhy did I lose 7 pounds in a week?
I was 117 pounds last week and now I'm suddenly 110. I got the flu and threw up twice, is that related? Or am I not working out enough or what? I don't think it has to do with exercising, because losing seven pounds in seven days sounds unhealthy even for a lazy tart. Also, how do I go back to normal? I was really sad because I finally reached Master Chief Petty Officer John-S117's serial number. But at least it was 7 pounds I lost.
3 AntwortenDiet & Fitnessvor 9 JahrenHow to overcome fear of being alone?
I'm 14 and I always like thinking about my future. I don't want to be married, but I want to move out. The problem is I still remember some ghost stories from a while ago. When I'm home alone at night, I go to bed trying to not be scared. I don't think I can handle that every day when I grow up. It would be lame if I live with my parents still, but it would also save money so I don't have to take anything from my savings account. What should I do?
5 AntwortenPsychologyvor 9 JahrenIf you take an idea from a movie and patent it, can you be sued?
If a movie has a cool item that is possible to make but no one has patented it, can you patent it with the same design as in the movie without being sued by the movie people? Let's say you invent the lightsaber. Can the Star Wars makers sue you or do anything to you?
1 AntwortLaw & Ethicsvor 9 JahrenDoes anyone know of any door hinges like this?
Are there any kinds of one way hinges that stop at 180 degrees and can't pass the 180 degrees no matter how hard it is twisted? Basically, say you have a ruler with inches on one side and centimeters on the other. You cut it in half and connect the two halves of the ruler with said hinge. The ruler can now bend into the inches side but not the centimeter side at all.
1 AntwortMaintenance & Repairsvor 9 JahrenWhy do people call me skinny?
I'm male, 14, 5'2", 114 lbs, and can pull up to 120 - 140 lbs on a bicep pull-down. And my stomach is 29" around. I lift 18 lb dumbbells, do 20 push ups, and 20 - 30 sit ups a day. Why do my family members call me skinny (in a bad way)? Is it because I used to be chubby and they're used to that? Or am I really skinny/weak? Recently, I've been working out a LOT, but when that old ****** said that it dropped my self-esteem more than I can handle. So I'm never exercising and always eating for the rest of my life.
5 AntwortenDiet & Fitnessvor 9 JahrenWhat is everything I need to know about 3D printers?
I want to make some stuff that can handle thermate. They have to be made of a metal that doesn't melt at 2500 Celcius. It's probably hard to weld that kind of metal, plus printers would make it more exact. Can you print things with something like tungsten or tungsten carbide? How? Where do I get this stuff? Tell me everything you know about 3D printing. Give me some website links.
2 AntwortenPrintersvor 9 JahrenWhat do you need to eat to live?
I'm preparing for the zombie apocalypse, so I was thinking of making little packs or pills or something of all the nutrients you need like sugar and salt. Am I missing anything important, and how much of each should I have a day? Also, I know fat is required to live as well, so do they sell some form of fat by itself that won't spoil like sugar and salt?
5 AntwortenMedicinevor 9 JahrenIn archery, does eye dominance matter?
I'm left-eyed, but perfectly fine with aiming with my right eye. I REALLY don't want to switch hands. Does it matter? I aim my right hand recurve by focusing on the target with both eyes and having the string align with the arrow in the right eye's periphery.
4 AntwortenHuntingvor 9 JahrenCan you become an Air Force pilot without going to college?
If I'm not a pilot of the USAF I might as well go to hell. But the problem is I'm stupid (I'm only good at math and physics while I suck at foreign languages and bio) so I doubt I'll be accepted into the USAFA. And people keep saying you HAVE to have a bachelors, even to start as a recruit. Is that true? If so, what should I do? P.S. I still want to try to get into the academy, so how many credits of a language do you have to take (for the Air Force Academy)?
8 AntwortenMilitaryvor 9 JahrenHow do you traditionally aim a longbow/recurve bow?
I normally do it instinctively but I want to be accurate. People say they put their arrows and focus their eyes on the target. Both eyes should be open when shooting so I tried it with each eye (meaning if I were to close the opposite eye the arrow would be on the target). Either way, putting the arrow tip on the target made me shoot too high. My form and horizontal accuracy are good. I'm just shooting too high. What am I doing wrong?
